Active Learning in Higher Education

Active Learning in Higher Education is an international, refereed publication for all those who teach and support learning in higher education and those who undertake or use research into effective learning, teaching and assessment in universities and colleges. The journal has an objective of improving the status of teaching and learning support as professional activity and so looks at academic theory and practice applicable in/to all disciplines and contexts/countries in higher education.

AISHE-J

An open-access, peer-reviewed, journal of scholarly research into Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. AISHE-J was first published in 2009 and welcomes the submission of manuscripts presenting original scholarly work or commentary in any aspect of teaching and learning in higher education. Invites both submissions that focus on higher education on the island of Ireland and manuscripts specifically dealing with transnational or international issues and perspectives.

The Learning Professional

The Learning Professional (formerly JSD) is the flagship publication of Learning Forward, the Professional Learning Association. Published six times a year, each issue of the magazine includes several articles around a theme related to professional learning topics, for example, equity, high-quality instructional materials, and research.

International Journal of Technology & Design Education

The International Journal of Technology and Design Education encourages research and scholarly writing covering all aspects of technology and design education. The journal features critical, review, and comparative studies. In addition, readers will find contributions that draw upon other fields such as historical, philosophical, sociological, or psychological studies that address issues of concern to technology and design education.

Action in Teacher Education

Action in Teacher Education is published as a service to members of the Association of Teacher Educators and others concerned with teacher education. It serves as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas related to the improvement of teacher education at all levels.

Journal of Learning Spaces

A peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually, The Journal of Learning Spaces provides a scholarly, multidisciplinary forum for research articles, case studies, book reviews, and position pieces related to all aspects of learning space design, operation, pedagogy, and assessment in higher education.

Journal of Information Literacy

The Journal of Information Literacy (JIL) publishes innovative and challenging research articles and project reports which push the boundaries of information literacy thinking in theory, practice and method, and which aim to develop deep and critical understandings of the role, contribution and impact of information literacies in everyday, health, education and workplace contexts. Articles within JIL are from both internationally renowned authors and library professionals who teach or undertake research into information literacy.
