In December 2003 I joined the Library Department in LIT, I also worked in the Art Library for a period of 2+ years. I completed my library degree in 2013 my topic for my thesis was "Mature Students – How they engage with library and information services in Third Level Institutions: Aim/research question: Do libraries provide sufficient learning supports to mature students?"
The Mature Students’ Book Lending Scheme which I have sole ownership of in the Library, has increased year on year since its inception in 2004.
