Searching for Research

Using various search engines to find scholarly information

What about Google?

Google (Google.com) is great. We all use Google for day-to-day searches and for quick answers to quick questions, however, the search results you find on Google are not really adequate for your college projects.

You need good quality academic references for your projects. You also need sources you can trust. Google searches cannot guarantee these types of reliable results.

Our advice - why not check out the library database resources you now have free access to? Databases offer a huge range and selection of trustworthy materials.

When you are searching for research, this really is the best place to start.
