SOME USEFUL RESEARCH WEBSITES
artnet is the leading online resource for the international art market, and the destination to buy, sell, and research art online. Founded in 1989 with the goal of bringing transparency to the art world, artnet’s comprehensive suite of products offers a variety of art market resources to our audience of collectors, dealers, and art enthusiasts.
The Art21 Magazine launched in July 2007 as the Art21 Blog. It began as a way to share news on our PBS series and the artists we feature, but quickly expanded to incorporate one of the first guest blogging programs on the web. Guest bloggers have included artists, academics, curators, and leading contemporary arts writers who have re-defined the field in the digital age. For six years, this site welcomed more than a hundred guest bloggers, before evolving into theme-based issues in 2013.
